Spring into Music at Alpine
Dear Parents – Alpine will be having an evening of musical presentations performed by our students at the KH PAC, located at the KH High School. Students are already beginning preparations for their shows! Here are the dates and times for your planning. More detailed information will be available as the date of the concert approaches. We look forward to seeing you there!

KK/K – 5th Grade Concert – Monday, May 9th2022
KK/K – 5:20 – 5:40 pm
1st/2nd – 6:00 – 6:40 pm
3rd – 7:00 – 7:20 pm
4th/5th – 7:40 – 8:15 pm

All students should arrive 10 minutes early to meet their teachers. Dress to impress!

MSTEP Assessment Update
Grades 3rd-5th will continue to be engaged in taking our state assessment over the course of the next few weeks. Please help encourage your child to do their best each day on the assessment. The best thing you can do as a parent to support your child’s readiness is to make sure that they get sufficient sleep each night!
NOTE: While we support parents in making choices for their children, there is no acceptable way under state or federal law to allow an “opt-out” of state assessments. Last year, requirements for 95 percent participation in state assessments were waived by the U.S. Department of Education due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, this is no longer the case for 2022. Students who are not assessed this year will count against their school’s required 95 percent participation rate.

School Resources and Elections

Please be aware that no school resources should be used for any campaigning. We ask that all community members refrain from the collection of signatures while on school property (whether it's a school board position, city council, county, etc.).

Boots and Beauties Daughter Dance
Friday, May 6, from 7 pm to 9 pm in the Alpine Elementary Gym. Special guest DJ Jazzy J Snyder. $10 per family, cash or Venmo. Hosted by the Alpine PTO. A Photographer will be present and you can choose to purchase photo packages from $5-$30.

EDUCATION
REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
