What an exciting morning! We cheered and cried as we sent off our 5th graders today. Good luck to all of them as they graduate on to Middle School.

Have a wonderful summer!

Note from Nurse Michelle
Hello, my name is Michelle Sikkema and I am the Registered Nurse at Central Elementary. With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, I wanted to send out a reminder that all medications kept at the school, prescription, and non-prescription, will need to be picked up at the end of the year by a parent or guardian. Any medication remaining after the last day of school will be properly disposed of. If you need more time or want to set a time to pick up your child’s medication, please reach out to me at 616-453-6351 (option 3). As a reminder for next fall, all medication administered at school requires a medication consent form signed by a physician no earlier than July 1 of that school year. If your child has allergies, asthma, or seizures, an Emergency Action Plan is also required. Thank you all for trusting me to care for your child/children throughout the school year. I hope you all have a safe and fun-filled summer. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Nurse Michelle Sikkema, BSN, RN, 616-453-6351 ext. 6342
