2022-23 Placement
When placing students, staff members assign children to classrooms that will meet their intellectual, social, and emotional needs. Teachers use many factors to determine student placement for the following year. These factors include: finding a match between the student’s learning style and the teacher’s teaching style; grouping students into similar and workable academic groups; dividing classrooms into even numbers of boys and girls; and placing students who work well together in the same classroom.
Your input is valuable to teachers when making class assignments. The information from this form will aid teachers in this process. CHILD LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FORM

THIS WEEK’S SHOWCASE
Principal Willick, teachers, and all staff were appreciated this week by our Family Council. We are so thankful to be part of a community that takes care of one another. It truly takes a village to educate our students.
Uganda Art Project
The goal is for the students to sell their art for at least $10. The money can be turned in to their classroom teachers. The money will be used to purchase a water tank for a school in Uganda. We are collecting until May 27th.
Paint Kenowa Green
Paint Kenowa Green is a way to bring awareness and normalize the need to talk about and practice techniques that lead to positive mental health. May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. Zinser will have decorations and opportunities for students as well as staff to participate.

Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
